Hi My name is Jo-Ellen Buchan. I am one of your PE teachers. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in a small town in UPstate NY. After high school I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where I attended Coastal Carolina University. I recieved my Bachelors of Science in Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. I met my husband and moved up here to Morehead City right after college and started working here at Bogue Sound in 2005. Some of my interest are boating, spending time with friends and family, and Playing games with my daughter. I love teaching P.E. and look forward to a great year!
Hi My Name is Colleen Whilldin. I am one
of your PE teachers also. Let me tell you about myself. I grew up in New Jersey. After I graduated High School I moved to Willmington where I attended the University of NC at Willmington. I recieved my Bachelors of Science in Physical Education. After teaching for a few years I went back to school and got my Masters Degree in Physical Education/Pedagogy from East Carolina University. A few years ago I recieved my National Boards and also am a part of the NC Alliance of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. I love to play golf and Basketball. I love to teach P.E. and look forward to a great year!
