Here are some guidelines for participating in the program:
1. This program applies to non-holiday weekdays only.
2. A minimum of two dog washes must be booked at a time to participate in this program.
3. Please book ahead, either online or by phone (mudpuppys.com, 510-559-8899)
4. Please have a valid dog-walking permit issued by East bay Regional Parks District and present it each time you check in for your appointment.
5. Bring only two dogs into the shop at a time.
6. If you have more dogs with you please make sure they are secure and attended to.
7. In order to maintain a fun and safe atmosphere we ask that you wait with your other dogs away from the front of the building and patio. The field behind Mudpuppy's is under-utilized and is a good spot to hang out while your dogs are being bathed.
8. We must emphasize that, while you're around the building and patio, it is imperative that you maintain control of your dog group at all times. This is particularly important when encountering other dog walkers. Fact is, two or more groups of dogs getting together can be a bit much to handle if there is trouble. It can also be a little overwhelming for park users enjoying a peaceful walk and a bite at the cafe with their dog.

Dog-Walker Program
We are offering a new program at Mudpuppy's that benefits both you and your clients! The program allows you to offer your clients' the service of bringing their dogs to Mudpuppy's for a scrub, returning them not only exercised but clean too! In exchange, Mudpuppy's compensates you with a discount of $5 per wash. This is especially beneficial to those clients of yours who can only get to Point Isabel on weekends, but have a hard time scheduling a bath because of the crowds. It also creates a great differentiator for the services you offer as a Dog Walker.
