Welcome to Lizard Music Creations
Glad to see you've stopped by!
Lizard Music Creations Recording Studios, located in San Diego, California, was established in 2006 because as a songwriter and musician myself, I continually see a growing need of local singer-songwriters and bands wanting to put their musical dreams into recordings. Whether you're just getting started or have recorded in high-end studios before, you've come to the right place.
I have over 18 years of experience in the songwriting and recording industry, including having written songs for popular computer games and providing audio engineering for companies such as Microsoft and Trimark Entertainment. As a developing songwriter, I understand the time and costs involved with trying to reach goals of achieving anything from a single-song demo up to an official CD release project. At Lizard Music Creations, you are guaranteed to save a lot of time and money, and still be able to meet your goals.
If you're thinking about recording your music, I hope you choose Lizard Music Creations to make your songwriting dreams a reality.

Equipment Used at Lizard Music Creations
The recording room is outfitted with a dual 22-inch widescreen monitor with a SonicaLabs HUSH QR Quad-Core workstation. Sonar 8 Producer Edition is the digital recording medium of choice, complete with an extensive collection of high end plug-ins, featuring EastWest Virtual Instruments, Boost11, V-Vocal by Roland and LP-64 mastering tools. The Sonar suite of tools also gives rich reverb, delay and gate effects to tailor your instrument or vocal to however wish. Plus, Sonar tracks are exportable to a ProTools environment, should you ever need work done in a ProTools studio. All work is automatically backed up daily and archived on separate portable hard disks.
The Sonar system is interfaced with two Presonus Firestudio Project units, allowing to simultaneously record 16 instruments at a time. This is perfect for the vocals, guitars, bass, and independently mic'ed drums playing together at once.
AKG and Shure Condenser and Dynamic microphones are currently the choice used in the studio.
Closed-back AKG-70 headphones are used to monitor while recording, preventing any leakage of sound into any recordings. Nearfield monitors by M-Audio provide an exact reproduction of sounds in the recording.
For any equipment questions, please contact me.

Recording Magazine
Recording Magazine is a monthly subscription to probably the best recording tips and advice I've ever seen. I met web editor Justin Peacox, who is extremely knowledgeable with the latest music gear and writes clear articles throughout their volumes. Readers Tapes is a section within each issue where Marty Peters gives a great thorough review of home studio recording submissions. It's worth the annual subscription for anyone just getting started or are already experts in home recording techniques.
