Biography My name is Jennifer Kostroun and I am a 1988 Yoe High graduate. I received my bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in reading from Texas State Universtity. I began my teaching career in New Braunfels, Texas before returning to my hometown of Cameron and I have experience teacning 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th grades. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two sons and a daughter that have thrived in Cameron schools. My husband, David, works in Austin for the Department of Agriculture as chief administrator for agriculture and consumer protection. My son, Logan, is a junior at Texas A & M Universtity majoring in Agricultural and Biological Engineering. My daughter, Madeline, is a junior at Yoe High and my son, Collin, is a freshman. I love every moment I get to spend with your children and take my responsibility as a teacher, role model, and mentor very seriously. I feel that all teens have strengths and gifts to contribute to society and I will strive to help your son or daughter realize their abilities
and reach their full potential. I
cannot tell you the joy I feel
each year as I get to follow
the progress of former students
through their high school years
and beyond. I feel like they are
all part of my family in some
small way.
