John has been involved in photography for many years but only recently has it become a passion. Johns primary focus is nature and wildlife shots. Flowers, animals, birds, waterfalls and structures are all key components of Johns work. Of course Johns broad array shows that basically anything that captures his eye will soon be captured forever.
Most of Johns travels are throughout the Ohio area, where he makes his home, catching the old with the new. John has learned that there is a little beauty in everything living and material made, realizing life is too short to miss the simple things that might attract the eye. John has also found an added respect for nature, wildlife and its surroundings.
Johns primary format is Digital although he has used film most of his life. John has found digital to be more of a user friendly format. John is experienced in Photoshop and many other digital darkroom programs. Johns work is rarely altered other than to crop his images for framing purposes. John feels that what the camera sees is what his intentions are for his viewers.
Johns work can be found in several shows, gift shops and galleries throughout Ohio.
