Since I received my very first camera at age 8, photography has fascinated me. As I continued through life, my fascination aged with me. Soon, I was taking photos for friends and family. With each click of the shutter, I discovered that this was more than a fascination; it was more of a passion.

I attended California State University Chico and was awarded my bachelor's in Instructional Design. My studies led me to new approaches to my photography and expanded my knowledge on techniques.

Now, I'm taking photos as a career. I don't like to refer to it as such because it isn't work to me. Photography is something I love to do, and I hope that comes through to others when they view my work.

INVESTMENT Session Fees for Families, Children and Seniors $200 for up to 90 minutes and five subjects on location$175 for up to 90 minutes and five subjects in studio **$25 for each additional subject**Session Fees for NewbornsNewborn sessions last 3 hours and are for infants less than two weeks old. Newborn sessions are best at around five to ten days after birth. Jill prefers to do newborn sessions in her studio in Troy as you will have access to her complete set of newborn props and accessories.$250 for up to three hours in studio$285 for up to three hours on locationAll Session Fees include:Pre-session phone/e-mail consult (optional)Photographers time and talent$100 print creditCustom editing of 20 to 30 imagesPassword protected online proofing gallery including 20-30 color images and a select few in BW at photographers discretionPassword protected online gallery to share with family and friends. Your online gallery will be e-mailed to you within two weeks of your session and will be viewable for only 7 days. All print orders need to be made prior to expiration.Hand delivery of your portrait order.Each session is customized to your family. Do not expect stiff unnatural poses. Instead, expect fun, relaxed and REAL movement revealing true connections and honest emotions. Custom Photography is an investment and can be a big decision for your family. My goal is to capture the true essence of the day while remaining unobtrusive at all times. I strive to catch and document those precious moments and unforgettable emotions that are often overlooked. The result is a beautiful story told through a combination of documentary style and traditional images of your joyous day. Each and every wedding is captured by myself and accompanied by a second photographer. All packages include a personalized ordering appointment in your home and hand delivery of your order. An engagement session is also included in all wedding packages. This session allows us to get to know each other and our personal styles so I can provide you with more of the images you loved and less of the ones you didn't on your actual wedding day. DETAILS All sessionsThe session fee is due on the day of the session and must be made before we begin. Your images will be uploaded to a private gallery and will be available for viewing for 2 weeks. Print orders must be made within these 2 weeks or there is a 10% print price increase and a $50 reupload fee. There is a print minimum of $100. Print orders will be paid in full at the time of order submission. Please make checks out to Jill Clark.We reserve the right to use your images on our website or for display, publications or other purposes.Newborn/Baby/Child SessionsNewborns are best photographed between 0-2 weeks. On the day of your session please allow at least 2 hours (3 hours for newborns). We want to focus all attention on your child and distractions can limit the success of the session. This is why we ask that only ONE parent attend the session unless both are to be photographed. Please do not bring grandmas, nannies, assistants, friends or siblings unless they are being photographed. Please bring solid black long sleeve shirts that the sleeves can be pulled up for anyone being photographed. No sick children please!Maternity SessionsThese sessions are best between 7 to 8 months into your pregnancy, although can be done at any time. Solid colors are best for you and your partner, please bring a white and/or black camisole/tank top, large crisp white button up shirt (borrow a dress shirt from your hubby!) and a pair of your pre-pregnancy jeans. These do not have to close over your belly, you just need to be able to get them on! Also, don't forget your wedding rings!Bare belly images are not necessary but are usually the best. If you're comfortable enough for nude we can do that, if you aren't we won't! We can provide sheer to semi sheer wraps to cover you.

While I do create studio portraits, I would much rather create your images where you live your life, where you are comfortable, where you spend your time, where you like to be. My goal is to create art for your walls and for sharing with your family and friends.
