About Me
Meet The Teacher
Hi! My name is Julie Grant and I am the third grade teacher at Savoy Elementary. My husband Steve and I have two sons. My son Scott is a 2006 Savoy High School graduate and UIL state champion in computer science. He attends the University of Texas in Austin majoring in computer science. My son Adam is a 2009 Savoy High School graduate. He is in the Honor's Program at Southeastern Oklahoma State Unversity majoring in computer science. Teaching ExperienceI graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's of Science in elementary education in 2000. I have a Texas and Oklahoma teaching certificate in elementary with certification to teach self-contained 1st through 8th grades in all basic subject areas (reading, math, social studies, science, and language arts). The 2011-2012 school year is my twelth year of teaching at Savoy Elementary.
