ABOUT Bryan Jesney was born on July 6th 1978 and raised on a former WWII Air Force training base in Huron County, Ontario, Canada. His interests in art began at a young age as a way to escape from the toxic small town atmosphere that surrounded him. Bryan's canvasses are like personal journal entries finding inspiration in the unflattering truths of society. His work is mainly done in acrylics and displays many themes that he has encountered while growing up. Painting is a way for Jesney to explore and express tensions and conflicts as well as celebrate the familiar experiences that we as humans can relate to. All of Jesney's paintings are a timeframe in his life and sends a message to not only to himself but also to his viewers to look hard beneath the apparent surface to find redemption. Jesney continues to paint daily as a way to embrace his creativity thus in turn producing for his audience a beautiful visual exhibition.
