Rugby is an exciting, free flowing game with a comparable injury rate to soccer, It involves skills such as running, passing, tackling, catching, kicking, decision-making and supporting teammates.
Any girl, no matter her size or athletic ability, can find a position in rugby. All it takes is heart and determination. If you have those two things, it will carry you through.
For some of the girls, rugby is the first team sport they've ever played. The game gives them an opportunity to learn the importance of discipline and trust. Rugby gives girls the chance to hit as hard as their brothers; to break a sweat and get a little muddy. Rugby is also a great venue for girls to discover their power and find the confidence to succeed in anything they put their mind to later in their life.

On July 24th, the Cheatham Rugby Boys and Girls Team will be hosting a bike show at Gateway Church in Ashland City, TN. Events of the day will include inflatable jump castle and slide for the kids, live music, 50/50 raffle, chinese auction, and good food!
