History Text Lines In 1895, Jeff R. Brown built the finest brick hotel in Ontario County. The Naples Hotel and Restaurant soon became an impressive landmark, the center for dinners, weddings and banquets. Many speeches by prominent politicians, including Robert Kennedy, were delivered from the spacious front porch. The foundation of the building is three feet thick and the walls are five bricks thick.
Today, the Naples Hotel and Restaurant strives to maintain a lively and entertaining combination of the present with days gone by. The federal period architecture of the building is virtually as it was built. The first floor bar is almost as it was in the 1890's, and the Victorian dining rooms are unlike anything you'll find in today's chain restaurants. It's impossible to classify The Naples Hotel as strictly a fine dining restaurant, club, bed and breakfast or hotel. What we do here is simply unique.
We are known for uncommonly good food, with our chef Lizzi Clearman whose menu is thoughtful and innovative. Our "tap room" and bar area are very lively and we have entertainment 4 nights a week.

Page 1 Patrons have long spoken of a spirit called “Topper” and his hijinks around the property, said hotel manager Jason Randall. Randall himself said he has experienced strange happenings, so when he ran into some people last year connected with The Atlantic Paranormal Society, the paranormal investigation group from the SyFy Channel “Ghost Hunters” series, he was relieved.

Ghost Hunters Text Lines TAPS
During the summer of 2012 TAPS investigation team, from the television show Ghost Hunters, explored the Naples Hotel in search of our unseen guests. The investigation team found significant proof that the Naples Hotel is haunted. The show will premier on January 18th 2012.
