I was born in Coventry, England and moved to Canada with my parents when I was 10. We settled into Oakville for many years. I attended McMaster University for Music and taught private music lessons and played in various orchestral groups for several years. Soon after, I married my husband Jason and we had 2 children, Benjamin and Emily.
Having a mother who was a caterer, I have always been interested in food, cooking and baking and this collided with my artistic side when I found cake decorating. I have enjoyed making cakes as a hobby and it is a wonderful thing to be a part of someone's special day. I have been designing custom cakes since 2008 and hope I can continue to do so for many more years.

Since every cake and every situation is different, the cost of each cake will be different. A personal consultation with you will help me find out exactly the look and style you want, for the price you want.

Standard Cupcakes1-99: $2.00 each
Standard Cucpakes 100+: $1.75 each
Mini Cupcakes 1-8 dozen: $12.00 a dozen
Mini Cupcakes 9+ dozen: $10.00 a dozen
**Mini's must be ordered by the dozen
Custom Cake Pricing:
Fondant Cakes: Start at $3.25 per serving
Carved Fondant Cakes: Start at $3.75 per serving
Buttercream Cakes: Start at $2.25 per serving
Carved Buttercream Cakes: Start at $2.75 per serving
Sheet Cutting Cakes: $110 for buttercream; $160 for fondant (serves 100)
Specialty Cupcake Prices:
(come in standard size and must be ordered by the dozen)
1-8 dozen: $30.00 a dozen
9+ dozen: $24.00 a dozen
I will travel at no cost to any location in Burlington & Oakville. Delivery outside of this is an extra cost determined by the distance of delivery and time of day. Set-up at the venue is a flat-rate of $20.
Before scheduling a consultation with me, try to have as much of the following information as possible:
Please remember to have a cheque ready when you arrive, because I will need the 50% deposit to confirm your date.
Tastings:
A tasting can be arranged for the same time as your consultation. Tastings on orders for 100 servings or more are free. For cakes under 100 servings, a tasting is available for $20. I ask that you pick up to 4 cake flavours and up to 6 filling flavours for your consultation. The cake is served as cupcakes so you can mix and match them with the filling flavours.
Additional Information:
Whether you have a lot of pictures and ideas, or no idea at all where to start, I will help you design the perfect cake for your occasion.

Cupcakes are sold by the dozen and are packaged in a decorative box. $35
Traditional English Christmas Cake : A dense fruit cake with lots of brandy added then covered in marzipan and then fondant.This cake requires AT LEAST 3 weeks notice - it gets better as it matures! 8" round cake $60
Holiday Bundt Cake: A holiday shaped bundt cake in your choice of flavours- Rum Eggnog, Gingerbread or Orange Cranberry . Also available in 6 mini-bundt cakes (also holiday shaped). $40
**All cakes are packaged in either boxes, on a ceramic plate with cellophane. For an extra $12, the English Christmas Cake can be pacakged in a springform pan - a perfect gift for someone who loves to bake!
Sugar Cookies: A variety of Christmas and holiday shaped sugar cookies with our delectable icing. Packaged on either a white ceramic plate OR a red or green foil box. Includes 2 dozen cookies. $45
Gingerbread Cookies: A variety of Christmas and holiday shaped gingerbread cookies with our delectable icing. Packaged on either a white ceramic plate OR a red or green foil box. Includes 2 dozen cookies. $45
Christmas Cookie Selection: A variety of traditional Christmas cookies - sugar, gingerbread, pfeffernussen, pecan lace cookies, shortbread snowflakes, coconut macaroons, checkerboard cookies. Packaged on either a white ceramic plate OR a red or green foil box. Includes 2 dozen cookies. $45
