Photography is my passion. I have always enjoyed art. In 2002 I purchased my first digital camera from a co-worker when my oldest daughter was just 3 years of age. I began capturing the moments with my digital Olympus camera w/interchangable lenses. I always remembered my mother telling me to stand in front a clean background so that the junk in the back would not ruin the picture. At the time I didn't think anything of it, but when I began taking pictures of my own daughter I soon realized why & how much it enhanced the subject of the picture when you took into account the background.In 2008 my husband Danny bought me a digital canon rebel XSI for mothers day because he knew how much I enjoyed taking pictures. Within a month I decided to take some online photography courses. I enrolled with New York Institute of Photography & have just received my second certificate with them in January 2011. Through my assignments I had to learn all different types of photography ranging from product to weddings. My original focus was landscape & flower photography. I never thought I'd be taking pictures of people other than my own kids. Once I reached the Fashion Photography section, I began networking with a modeling site to practice what I had learned. With having only worked with models for 9 months, I have come to realize that "Fashion Photographer" was my dream. I have worked with models, designers, MUA's & an extreme sports magazine that has sent me on location to cover race footage. I have been published in magazines & on websites but have only recently taken it to the next level after meeting a MUA named Letty Calzada. Now the two of us are planning our own photoshoots for designers.
