About
My name is Jelena Kovacevic, and I'm an amatuer photographer, based in Edmonton, Alberta CanadaEver since I was a little kid I loved taking pictures. From my parents' old Vivitar 110 (which still works but can't find film for), to my first digital point and shoot camera in 2001 (it took pictures on floppy disks if you can believe it) up until my first DSLR in 2008, and most recent addition in 2010, I believe photographs are much more than an image on a piece of paper. They capture a feeling, a moment, even the emotion of a period of time.What I lack in conventional training I more than make up for with my creativity and what some have called an "eye" for the perfect moment. Portraits
Most of these are friends and family, occasionally the random person that doesn't think I'm a complete creeper for wanting to take their photo. I love taking pictures of people, although it does take some of them a little getting used to, and others just LOVE having a photo taken. Either way I'm happing bringing people out of their shell :)

Weddings and Engagements
Always something amazing about wedding, everyone is happy, and people are more than willing to do anything for a photo including me. Although most of my wedding photos were just me as a very in your face guest, there are a few weddings where I was official photographer and I can say it's one of the most fun things to do :)

Travels
Pictures from my travels to Europe, other Candian cities. It's funny how even the simplest things, things that you have in your own city and would most likely never notice become some of the most amazing pictures when you are travelling elsewhere, statues, cars, churches and so forth. Bon Voyage.
