About me
Some details about me and my vision:
Jennifer Berglund is a writer, producer and photographer based in Somerville, Massachusetts. She has helped produce and edit a variety of educational and entertaining science-related films for the web and the big screen. She has also worked as a writer for several award-winning publications, and is the recipient of numerous awards including an Associated Press award for her work on National Public Radio, and the 2011 Communicator Award for her educational series Biomes of the Earth for Facts on File. Having completed both her graduate and undergraduate education at Boston University, she holds a master's degree in Science and Medical Journalism, and a bachelor's in Biology. She is co-founder and producer for Prehensile Productions, a production company specializing in wildlife, nature and adventure documentaries.
A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, she grew up around the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, which instilled within he a love for nature that she's carried throughout her life. In he spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, travelling, gardening, brewing beer, and blinding you with science.
