CRASH Ministries, is a non profit organization designed to be a voice in the desert desiring to create events which spread Gods word and disciple students by offering them counseling and information on every aspect that teens face today. Our school systems are in moral decay. Instead of being reactive, we desire to be proactive by educating our students and showing them that there is a way to live a victorious life.On September 19th, 2009, we are promoting the third annual event called Desire The Fire. It will be held at Brookwood Town Park (Hwy 216 Brookwood, AL) at 12pm. Admission is only a $10 dollar donation (no one will be turned away, even if they cannot afford this amount) and this event offers entertainment, health awareness information, counseling, prayer and fellowship in a Christian atmosphere. We are providing an environment in which this vulnerable portion of our community can have an opportunity to socialize in a safe and supervised setting.Last year we had six popular Christian bands: Pillar, Grits, Our Hearts Hero, Philmont, Syntyst, and Jade. This year we have an amazing list of talent: Kutless, Disiple, Chasen, Esterlyn, Nine Lashes and Yungtown! This event is focused on using the entire Body of Christ to break through the pain and addictions our students face! We are proud to be one of the few events with licensed counselors! We even have counseling available for youth pastors!Its not just music, its ministry!
