No words can express the happiness and joy Jeanette brought to my beautiful wedding dress. The dress was absolutly perfect. I don't think there is another seamstress that would have done a better job. Fabric; impecable. design; breath taking. It was the envy of all brides! Decription of Juliette's dress

Fifty eight yards of winter white taffta went into creating this luscious ruffled gown. The basket weave bodice is highlighted with a delecate ruffle at the sweetheart neckline, outlined richly with crystal trim. The ruffled strap on one shoulder is accented with rose buds and peonies and the crystal trim. The corset back is tied with with taffeta strings making the fit perfect!

The skirt is lavish with rows of ruffles topped

with the same delicate ruffle and crystal trim and

broach. The Chapel length train gathers each

ruffle in the center with a rose detail finishing into a bouquet of roses and peonies! Each detail is made just that much more eletgant with a touch of crystal!

A woman dreams of her wedding day her whole life! For me having the right dress was the most important part of my wedding. I am a perfectionist in every way! I had a vision of my wedding dress and that was something along the lines of Cinderella covered in hundreds of sparkling cryatals. Finding Jeanette was the best thing that could have happened to me! Not only is Jeanette a pleasure to be around, easy to work with, she was on the same page as me from the very start. My dress by far exceeded my expectations! Decription of Dominique's Gown

Eighty yards of tightly gathered tulle make up this Princess' dream ball gown skirt. The skirt is edged with silver lace in a flower and leaf pattern, making it float on air! The corsetted bodice is of sheer organza and tulle with a Queen Anne neckline and cap sleeves. The upper bodice is covered in lace and over sixteen hundred hand placed crystals, leaving the lower bodice a sheer delight with just a hint of lace leaves and crystals dripping over! Dominique and this gown were made for each other!

Have you ever had the experience of knowing exactly what you want and having no idea what you want at the same time? Well, that's exactly how I felt when I walked into Jeanette's home on the day of my first appointment. What happened from there was like magic. She told me to go through bridal magazines and show her some of the dresses I liked. I had done that before, but never found 'the one' in any magazine. She told me to just go ahead and do it. What I didn't know at the time was that Jeanette wasn't looking for me to find 'the one'. She was discovering my style. I don't know how she did it, but within an hour I was being fitted for the dress I had been dreaming of my whole life! On my final fitting, when I looked in the mirror, I think that I saw 'me' for the very first time. I was wearing a dress that was created just for me. It fit me like a glove in every way. In fact, the comment which I received the most on my wedding day was 'that dress is so you'. Jeanette, I will be forever grateful for your kindness, vision and passion. I found 'the one' in my husband, but you created 'the one' in my dress.

Description of Tracie's dress

Tracie's dress is made of lucious mocha satin backed crepe. With a beautiful and drapy cowel neck and a 40's style fitted skirt growing fuller at the bottom and flowing into a sweep train. But, in place of a veil, Tracie chose a princess style cape of mocha beaded lace framing her beautiful face and trailing behind her.... Unbelievably regal!

Something old... I spent days searching the Internet and weeks searching the stores, trying to find the perfect fit...with no luck. It wasn't until a few months before the wedding that I tried on my mother's dress. We unpacked it gently from the box, where it had spent the last 30 years, with such anticipation. The dress was perfect. Rather, it was perfect for someone who was married in the 70's and was 10 pounds lighter than me! My first trip to Jeanette's was filled with laughter, measurements and pictures of an awkward bride-to-be. I had absolute confidence that she could make all the needed alterations as I gave her my ideas. She understood the importance of the unique but classic style I was going for. After only 3 trips to Jeanette's, my beautiful dress was back in my hands. And on our wedding night, my husband's words really said it all..."Patricia, your dress looked amazing!"

The first decision was to remove the petticoat. That made Tricia happy. Next, we removed the ruffle around the neck and sleeves....it's coming together....next, we slimmed down the front of the skirt, leaving it full in the back. The ruffles we took from the neck and sleeves were used to make the dress the perfect length for Patricia! 1970 to 2009! Done...!

Not all wedding gowns are white...

Here is my beautiful daugher-in-law, Jennifer in her Vitorian style black lace gown. The three piece dress is black taffeta with black lace overlay. The corset bodice features a sweatheart neck and lacing up the bodice back. The straight skirt has two ruffels at the bottom to just brush the ground! The removable taffeta jacket finishes off this one of a kind look!

the Process...

The Brides process:

During our first consult we will discuss your vision of the dress you have been dreaming of since you were a child! Together we will decide on the silhouette of your gown and fine tune the details of the design. The next step is the selection of the color, the fabrics, the laces, the trims and buttons and bows!

The next step is the muslin gown. This will help us to make sure your vision is going to work on your body. All of the changes in design will come before we cut into your fabrics. The muslin then becomes my pattern and the fun begins!

Fittings are usually 3 or 4, but we will have as many fitting as it takes to be perfect!

The Bridesmaids process:

As my bride, you and I will make a final decision on the style(s) of the gowns, color and finish, trims and fit. Your bridesmaids will also have a muslin made for fit and silhoutte. Fittings are usually 2 to 3.

At our first consult and before I start your gown, a deposit of 1/3 is required. The price I quote will not change unless you change your design or add to it. The second 1/3 is due at your first fitting of your actual gown. The last payment is due the day you take you gown home. Bridemaids are 1/2 at start and 1/2 when the gown is finished.

You have the option of having me come to dress you and your bridesmaids the day of your wedding, which includes me bringing your gown, final pressing, dressing you and bustling your train after the ceremony.
