John discovered his calling for stained glass in 1995 when, as a student at Eckerd College, he audited a
class taught by master glass artist Frederick Leuchs. This meeting gave direction to John's childhood artistic talents, and focused his visual arts education, both in the US and abroad, with a concentration in glass. John has previous studio employment in Florida, Hawaii and, most recently, a 7 year employment with the renowned Willet Studio in Philadelphia. While at the studio, he completed an architectural glass apprenticeship, and was promoted to head of Willet's Restoration department. Upon his leaving Willet in 2007 to focus on a growing family, John began accepting private stained glass commissions - laying the foundation for a well-structured, high-end studio
of his own.
