Janet is a fully qualified, experienced homeopath with several years in private practice and as a teacher of homeopathy. She is also a fully trained fitness instructor with a special interest in diet and nutrition.

I come from a varied background - from an MA Hons degree in Philosophy at St Andrews, via working as a care assistant in a home for the elderly, to a director's position in an advertising agency, with a stint at the British Red Cross along the way!
My interest in homeopathy comes from having seen at first hand how effectively it worked for myself and my three children, both for acute situations (such as colds, bumps and bruises) and deeper-seated chronic complaints.
Being a permanent member of the teaching staff at the Northern College of Homeopathic Medicine, in Gateshead, I used my knowledge and experience of this dynamic treatment to help shape the homeopaths of the future.
Homeopathy is an holistic therapy and I feel it can be used to bring relief to almost any condition, as the variety of patients who I support would show.
I have several areas of special interest including women's issues, mental health, skin complaints, children's health and sports injuries (my husband is a competitive triathlete and I am myself a fully trained fitness instructor).
