ADHD, commonly refered to as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a disorder affecting primarily the prefrontal cortex or "attention center"of the brain. The prefrontal cortex also controls working memory,impulses, and motor behavior.Studies have also shown abnormal levels of brain chemicals associated with ADHD including seratonin and dopomine.
