Welcome to Bakery Blessings & Bookstore _ the Bar. Come on in and satisfy your sweet tooth with a sweet treat or get a pick me up with a cup of coffee and a light lunch. Pick a book from one of our local Kentucky authors and be blessed by their talents. Everything you purchase here will be a blessing to others by supporting our local community and by providing a place for teens to come and hang out after school.

Jan Sullivan has been baking Christmas goodies for friends and families most of her life. As a youth and a college student, she worked at The Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie Company, and The Fudgery! She has a Masters Degree in Youth Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary and has served thirteen years in fulltime ministry. And she has published three books; Forever Family, Never Alone, and Stand Strong. This lifetime of experience makes Jan uniquely qualified to run this business! Come on in and share your stories with her over a cup of coffee and a chocolate chip cookie!

These are just a few of our sweets. Our bakers are busy in the kitchen coming up with more delicious yummies as we speak! Current goodies include Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Snickerdoodles, and No-Bake Cookies, Brownies, Fudge, Krispie Rice Treats, Whoopie Pies, Buckeyes, Orange Balls, Banana Bread, and Lemon Cake.
