MoovManage runs on fully-redundant servers within the Icomera data center – you simply pay a low-cost monthly fee for the service and access it securely via a web browser.Monitor MoovManage shows the status of all your Moobox devices wherever they may be, including uptime and WAN signal quality, and key settings information retrieved remotely from each device. Monitor in real-time using the at-a-glance Dashboard, or drill down to device-specific information. Control MoovManage offers Wi-Fi hotspot user registration and usage statistics reporting via a built-in RADIUS AAA server, and provides a quick and simple way to get a portal-based Wi-Fi service up and running. See who's connected to your network and when, to which Moovbox and for how long; understand network usage trends over time; monitor uploads and downloads per session and over time to assess WAN bandwidth consumption. Track MoovManage offers an optional GPS-based real-time location and survey service available only for the Moovbox M Series Mobile Broadband Gateway. Track offers a low-cost, web-based method for tracking your Moovbox M Series and the vehicle in which it's located. Each Moovbox sends its GPS co-ordinates at a pre-set interval over the carrier connection (e.g. 3G UMTS HSPA, TD-CDMA or WiMAX) to MoovManage where you can view the device's position and bearing on a moving map. In addition, Track measures and reports the WAN signal quality along any given route so that you can assess cellular data coverage in any area.MoovAdminWith MoovAdmin you configure an individual Moovbox for use via a secure browser-based interface, connected either through the Ethernet port on the device itself or remotely over a network or public Internet. MoovAdmin enables you to control every aspect of the device, including firmware updates, settings upload, and SNMP configuration for third party networking monitoring tools such as HP OpenView or Castle Rock SNMPc.MoovAdmin is included with every Moovbox product.

Icomera delivers integrated advertising for in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspots.
Göteborg, Sweden, February 2nd 2010 Icomera, the worlds leading provider of cellular broadband gateways, has launched a new service that brings advertising to mobile Wi-Fi hotspots on trains and buses, and enables hotspot operators to generate revenues by offering targeted messaging to their customers. MoovManage Ads, an optional component of Icomeras MoovManage web-based hotspot management service, allows operators to create and manage advertising campaigns and track their success. Advertisements are presented to hotspot users during their online session. It is estimated that hotspot usage increased in 2009 by 47%, bringing total worldwide connections to 1.2 billion [source: In-Stat]. MoovManage Ads provides a path for hotspot operators to increase usage by switching from paid to free Wi-Fi services, while retaining a way to generate income via targeted advertising.Transport operators want to attract more people to use train and bus services, and offering free Wi-Fi during ajourney is compelling proposition, said Dave Palmer, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Icomera.Without revenue from paying users, operators are seeking alternative ways of underwriting the cost of deployingWi-Fi on-board, which is a more expensive process than installing free Internet in a coffee shop. MoovManage Ads provides a highly effective way of introducing advertising to the hotspot, whether offering discounts on season tickets or messages from third party sponsors.MoovManage Ads works in conjunction with Icomeras family of award-winning rugged cellular gateways. Onpassenger vehicles, the Moovbox M200 Mobile Broadband Gateway acts as a bridge to the Internet using multiple high-speed cellular 3G and 4G broadband connections that deliver on-board Wi-Fi for passengers, and connectivity for on-board systems. In addition to providing advertising within the hotspot experience, the MoovManage system enables the transport operator to monitor and remotely configure multiple Moovbox devices across its fleet, while keeping track of vehicles using in-built GPS functionality. Were really excited about the new MoovManage Ads feature, said Rob Taylo, CEO of SinglePoint Communications in Portland, OR, and a key distributor for Moovbox products in North America. Now our customers can promote their own brand and associated services, or work with local and national advertisers to create marketing campaigns for their specific user demographic. The revenue opportunity from advertising is exactly what transport operators have been looking for as a way to justify the roll-out cost and achieve a tangible ROI. With the proliferation of Wi-Fi enabled portable devices such as the iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry and netbooks, free on-board Wi-Fi is rapidly becoming expected by rail, bus and coach passengers, especially on commuter routes and inter-city transport services. Many of the worlds largest transport operators have deployed Icomera Internet systems on key routes favoured by commuters, students and international travelers, serving over 100,000 Internetconnections every week.

The Fire Departmentwill take advantage of the dual redundant high-speed cellular links available in the Moovbox M200 to connect vehiclesto a central command facility in the event of nuclear emergencies. The system was designed and provisioned byIcomera US distributor SinglePoint Communications of Portland, OR and included specialist public safety gradeantennas and amplifiers to maximize signal quality and data throughput to the vehicles."We provide the field teams for both of the nuclear power plants in Minnesota, and it is critical that we have digitalcommunications with the State Emergency Operations Center that we can rely on," said Kurt Kramer, Deputy FireChief at Maple Grove FD. "Our teams are responsible for the detection and sampling of radioactive materials downwind of the release in the unlikely event of a problem at the plants. As a result, we require secure and reliable VPNconnections for receiving current weather data and mapping information, and maintaining a real-time wirelessbroadband link with the Operations Center. During a recent drill the Moovbox M200 performed flawlessly, even inareas where previously we’d not been able to acquire a cellular connection. The Moovbox provides the most rock-solidperformance we’ve seen; it is impressive and clearly fulfils our needs for emergency data communications."The Moovbox M200 Mobile Broadband Gateway acts as a bridge between a first responder vehicle and high-speedcellular data networks including 3G HSPA, EV-DO, WiMAX, and 4.9GHz public safety bands. The Moovboxprovides encrypted Wi-Fi access for ground crews and a secure Ethernet-based LAN for connecting on-board systemssuch as laptops and IP-CCTV over VPN to remote facilities. In the event that one network should become unavailable,Icomera’s patented SureWAN technology will seamlessly switch to the second network, thus providing redundancy formission-critical communications. The Moovbox also has an integrated GPS receiver for real-time automatic vehiclelocation (AVL) and providing GPS coordinates to other on-board systems. The Moovbox M200 won Best Wi-FiProduct/Service in the 2008 Wireless Broadband Awards."The market for rugged, industrial-grade cellular gateways in Public Safety applications is significant," said DavePalmer, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Icomera. "In the United States alone there are over 550,000public safety vehicles within the fire, police and ambulance services, representing a market opportunity in excess of$800 million. We are delighted that Maple Grove FD has found our Moovbox M200 fit-for-purpose in such ademanding environment, and we look forward to expanding our business in this important sector throughout NorthAmerica and beyond."
