Jamaal As-Salaam sometimes performs with Larry "LC" Copeland and the Latin Groove Band.
In 2008 together they recorded Cinderella, and Jamaal read his poem "Hard in the heart" .
This poem was sleceted from the book "One Eyed Dogs".

"LC" in 2009 recorded a very special CD dedicated to his mother, Daisy Lee, she passed on Election Day November 7, 2008 but was able to vote and was there to see for the first time in history, the election of an African American as President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama.
