After a fantastic season which has seen our 1st Xi finish as champions again and our 2nd Xi claim promotion, our 2010 Awards Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 22nd October at our world famous home ground in Eltham starting at 7pm.
There will be food supplied by EDF in the way of chicken curry, rice and naan with veggie curry also supplied on the night. The price will be £5 per person, please feel free to bring along partners, friends and family.
If you could donate a prize for the raffle, that would be much appreciated.
Our winter net sessions will be held again at The Oval on a Monday 7-9pm and the Harris City Academy on a Saturday 11am-1pm . If you would like to attend either of these nets please contact Colin Quinn - if you do not have his number please send a message using the contact form on the "Find Us" page of this website.
Oval nets will run 7-9pm every Monday from 7th February 2011 until 11th April 2011.

At this current time a number of jobs to run our club are being done predominately by the same individuals. It would be a great help if more people volunteered to be involved in running our club, you don't have to be on the Committee to help out.

The L.E.S.S.A. Christchurch Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 2nd February at the EDF Sports Ground, unfortunately the meeting was not largely attended but those who did go decided on the following for the 2010 season.
Match Fees to be raised to £8 Adult & £4 Student/unemployed
Tour to either Cheltenham or Milton Keynes will be the weekend of 17/18 April, this shall be organised by Matt Quade.
Sunday team will go ahead this season playing friendlies. The Captain for each game will be selected on a ad hoc basis.

It was decided at the AGM that Colin Quinn, Paul Lawson & James Hunter would remain as a three man selection committee for 2010 after a successful trial season in 2009.
The annual League Award Presentation Dinner was held on Friday 26th November 2009 at Sidcup CC. Ben Fewson, Pankaj Mour, Shiraz Amman, Matt Quade, Mark Holmes and James Hunter attended the event representing Lessa Christchurch CC. As Colin Quinn could not be there on the night, his deputy collected the award and team medals on his behalf (James pictured below).
