Jaki Brown is a Fashion Designer, Stylist, Costumer and Home Decor Designer. Ms.Brown is the owner and head designer at Jaki Brown Couture as well owner of the costume company "Dementia Darkchild Productions". Jaki Brown is a full service designer with designs for women, men, teens, dancers, and stage performers. Ms. Brown is also a teacher ,writer and visual artist. She has won many awards for her design work such as "The Innovation in Design Award" from the ASGLA ",Excellence in Teaching Award" in Sewing Arts, "Certificate of Excellence" from the Fiber Artists Association and Five first place awards in various international doll design contests. She is the creator of the ILLUMINART Lamp line series and home decor pieces as well as Tiny Divas Dolls,doll accessories and doll furniture. Jaki Brown is also an Art, Sewing and Design teacher.Jaki Brown has shown her work on stages in Virginia, Atlanta and Florida and has designed for celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Carmen Electra and Nicole Sherzinger of The Pussycat dolls, Kandi Buruss , and Keri Hilson. Jaki's work has also been featured in videos for the Pussy cat Dolls and Pit Bull.Jaki Brown Couture holds fashion shows 3 times per year and is currently developing new looks for her trendy Vicki Rock collection. Jaki designs innovative clothing , and eco-friendly textile fibers from recycled goods. Jaki Brown is developing and producing new clothing lines under the name of The Urban Sophisticate for the business professional , Rock City Kidz for "tweens" a sweater line for small dogs "Mon Petit Chien" , The swimwear lines" Black Coffee" and "Couture du Soliel". Diva Latina Dancewear and the brand new fitness wear line " Necessary Pain" are also a product of Jaki Brown Couture .Jaki Brown's focus in 2012-13 will be on developing the home decor and bath accessories line of "JB Casa" and developing the menswear line "J.S.Adonis". Jaki Brown covers all types of innovative creative expression through the applied art of design.
