"Grandmas Christmas Legacy, the Testimony of the Tree" is a project birthed from W.O.W. Ministries International. The ministry was founded in March 2009 by Casey Schutrop with the objective to reach out and share the gospel with underprivileged women and children. To achieve this, the ministry is comprised of four main segments; teaching/speaking, international ministry works, literature and internet ministry.

THE AUTHOR 1 Old Album

THE AUTHOR 2 Casey Schutrop lives in Chanhassen. Minnesota . She ministers as a speaker, Bible teacher, individual and group discipler and mentor. She has also served as a worship leader and Mother of Preschoolers (MOPS International) Mentor . With a heart for interdenominational unity, she helped found a model for a discipleship based interdenominational womens ministry. Her experiences have led her to have written and taught several Bible study series, topical lectures, and seminars in the U.S. and abroad. Casey's passion through proclamation is to see health, hope, and healing brought into sharing joyfully the truths of Gods word, that we may experience His grace to be whole, healthy and holy. Casey along with her husband Marty of 27 years, have served in both church and para-church ministries (in leadership roles) for mens and womens ministries, discipleship, teaching, counseling, music, missions and youth ministries. Currently, they work on international boards for missions and evangelism and serve within their local church. They have three children. She enjoys the outdoors with her family, gardening with friends in their community garden, decorating, sipping chai lattes, and blonde hair dye!
ABOUT THE BOOK 1 Late one Christmas Eve, a loving grandmother, knowing she might not live to share the next Christmas with her family, asked God to provide a gift, a legacy of His grace to her, that she could gift to her family and friends that would stand the test of time. The answer came to her within the warm glow of the familys Christmas tree. There, graced among its branches, wonder unfolds as its lights, ornaments, garland, and the pinnacle crowning glory share secrets of life and love that transcend loss and fear and bring hope the year through. What, then, is its meaning? What story does it tell? Perhaps it takes a grandmas heart to reveal how the Christmas tree stands to tell the greatest story of all the true meaning of Christmas, yet also our lives, through the Testimony of the Tree.
