The week of opening his first nightclub/restaurant, he meets Alexis Parkhurst, a fashion designer; stunningly beautiful, with a painful past of her own. The story betrays the gritty, urban Detroit streets for the luxurious surroundings of the privileged, and showcasing a side of Detroit that most of the world never gets to see. When the two of them meet, sparks fly, despite their hesitation towards the opposite sex and they both finally find the one thing they have searched for their entire lives.
