On Fire: Brandon Macdonald
On Ice: Vincent Van Rose & Brenton Cyrus
Eyes On: Rawrlurb
#1 - Aric Voss (Last Week: #5)
It was violent, it was brutal, it was a match that favored the undefeated champion, but The Hollywood Superstar refused to be denied. Determined to be the guy that not only take the championship from it's owner, but also hand him his first defeat in his young career, bruised, bloodied and battered some would say Aric Voss went to the ends of the world to defeat the champion. Aric is the ONE!
#2 - Brandon Macdonald (Last Week: #8)
He was the one who made it through a grueling tournament for a brief case that contained a contract for a World Championship match whenever he wished. Whether it was premeditated or it was just in the moment (NOTE: If we here at the college was betting we'll pick the latter), after the new champion was brutally attacked during his post-match celebration, Brandon Macdonald wasted no time cashing in his title shot when the champ was at his weakest. The end result, Brandon MacDonald is the new IWF World Heavyweight Champion.
#3 - Robbie Hart (Last Week: #4)
It was a big night for Robbie Hart who captured the World Champion in a shocking upset over the champion Vincent Van Rose, but his reign lasted mere minutes thanks to two masked guys attacking him during his post-match celebration. A powerbomb on the steel chair, left an opinion for the Briefcase holder cash in and pretty much snatch the championship away from the new champion. Bittersweet night for Robbie Hart!
#4 - Steel Angel (Last Week: #1)
With all the momentum in the world heading into a match that heavily favored him, Steel Angel and his follwers who was quite confident heading into Violent Impulse, might (NOTE: And we do stress MIGHT) have underestimated the challenger. Although the two superstars involved in the "Trip to Oblivion" match put on the performance of the night, like his opponent Steel Angel left the US Cellular Arena bruised, bloodied and battered, but without the championship he walked in with and his undefeated streak finally broken.
#5 - Dan Alexander (Last Week: #2)
Not a good night for Dan Alexander who was a favorite to win the Finals of the Battle for the Briefcase tournament. Dan Alexander came very close to winning the briefcase, but the stars was in line for his opponent. Formerly #2 on the eleven, could Dan bounce back or was this defeat a start of a downward trend for the fan favorite superstar.
#6 - Rawrlurb (Last Week: #9)
Rawrlurb have been sending impulse through the IWF world since making her way into the company. In a shocking victory over Bryan Blaze and Succssion's own Andrew James, Rawrlub have just won herself a title shot for the New Blood Championship.
#7 - Tyson Rowle (Last Week: #11)
After weeks of disappointment in his match outcomes, Tyson Rowle bounced back when it was most important for him. Tyson Rowle turned back a tough challenge in Johnny Morbid to retain his championship at the pay-per-view event in what was a bloody contest for the High Impact Title. Has the tide finally changed for the only champion to retain his championship at Violent Impulse?
#8 - Brian Hunt (Last Week: #10)
Many may not like his tactics at Violent Impulse, but it was a master plan that was set into effect and played out to perfection and helped him along with his tag partner to become IWF's first ever Tag Team Champions.
#9 - Jason Hawk (Last Week: N/A)
He played Shadow Demon like a fool and in a match that was suppose to be a tag match for the Tag Team Titls, turned into a Handicap Match. The former General Manager is now the co-Tag Team Champion wit his tag partner Brian Hunt.
#10 - Syco Angel (Last Week: #7)
Disappointing night for the 800 pound monster and Succession member Syco Angel who went up against a retiring SBK in a match that was not for the weak of heart. Syco Angel came up short and Johnny Styles won his retirement match.
#11 - Stygian & Johnny Styles *tied* (Last Week: N/A)
Both superstars had an amazing night at Violent Impulse. Stygian made his official IWF and came up big with a victory over in what was yet another brutal match for Violent Impulse. Johnny Styles was able to turn back the 800 pound monster looking to destroy him in his retirement match. Both superstars tied for eleventh place this week.
