So where do we begin.......?
I guess if we're totally honest about this we're just like thousands of other armchair marathon runners.
It's a sunday morning in April, 9.30am arrives and we settle down on the sofa to watch all those wannabes pounding their way around the streets of London.
And the same thing comes to our minds...."I'm going to do that next year!"
Well the time has come to stop talking and getting training........it's going to happen!
Alan & John have joined up with TEAM LIVESTRONG to run the London Marathon on April 26th 2010
So this is where the story begins............
On this site we hope to keep a day to day diary of the ups and downs of our training, information on who is part of "Team Fatboys", more on how TEAM LIVESTRONG are looking to fight the battle against cancer and a daily blog.
