Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2011 – 2012 school year and to the Foundations of Technology class! This program has been designed to introduce your son/daughter to the many new technologies that affect our daily life and to introduce those technologies that may have a bearing on their career path. This yearlong program explores the very essence of technology through its evolutions, systems, techniques, utilization, and its social and cultural significance. They will be given the opportunity to enhance their ability to solve problems, think creatively and to utilize resources to make sound decisions. This course satisfies the required State of Maryland Technology Education Credit.
