Our Christmas Party...
Our traditional Christmas Party will be held on December 10, 2011 at Noel Carpio's residence. It will start with a group build at 3:00pm and by 6:00pm the party will start!Each member will have to bring food that is enough for at least 10 people. Please coordinate your pot-lock with Mr. Jun Villalon so as not to duplicate it.We will also have an exchange gift. Each member will have to bring a gift worth at least 300 pesos. It may be a model or materials used in scale modeling.

Posting your picstures
Posting pictures in our website is welcome to all members. We want you to show your work of art so that the world can see it!One can either send the webmaster a picture with a file-size of at least 250kb or can send a link (URL) from his own photo uploading site.The webmaster has the right to edit your photo and reject it. Rejection may simply be due to poor resolution or other techinical issues.Members may send their pictures or links through the club's yahoo-group or through the forums. Pictures submitted will be placed in the different pages of the website to encourage readers to go through all the pages.

Group building activity...
IPMS Manila has occasional group builds which are usually scheduled on long weekends or holidays. Any member may invite the club or a selected few (depending on the size of the available venue) to a group build.In group builds are when all members learn! It is the time when participants experiment on new stuff and techniques. It is a good time to share one's knowledge to fellow members.Simply post an invitation to a group build at the Forums so that many will know of the schedule. You may also opt to send a text message to your fellow members.

Membership...
IPMS Manila welcomes new members! We are a very casual group and we actually encourage you to attend a meeting first and get a feel of the group. We require a member to attend 3 meetings or an event plus one meeting.To be a member, you will fillout a membership form during your first meeting. You will have to pay an annual membership fee which we use to fund all the activities and needs of the club.IPMS Manila holds monthly meetings which are usually pegged on the 3rd Sunday of the month unless there are conflicts of schedules and holidays.

IPMS USA
IPMS USA has 13 Regions in its organization. Every year, it holds a National Convention where modelers in that continent and from all over the world attend and compete as well.IPMS Manila is a member of IPMS USA since 2004. Our organization is proud to say that we have been awarded Regional Chapter of the Year several times and National Chapter of the Year last 2009. This is due to the efforts of the members to promote the hobby in many ways.IPMS USA has monthly updates in its own interactive website at www.ipmsusa.org.
