Hi, my name is Henry Key Jr. Im a 22 yr old tattoo artist, painter and proud father. I grew up in the high crime, poverty stricken area of Auburn, AL. I first got into art at about 3-4 yrs old. The daycare teachers noticed that I didnt draw stick figures like the other children. So they encouraged me. And great artistry runs through my family. So it was something i naturally dabbled with. As I progressed and got older it was an outlet for me to stay out of trouble. I started winning school contests and local art competions. But my mom was the reason for me actually gettin introduced to tattooing. Moms has alot of them so when she was getting hers I remember sitting in the shop and drawing to impress the customers and anyone who would watch me draw. I got my frst tattoo at 16. I was instantly hooked! By the time my senior year in high school, 06-07 came around I took my art portfolio to the best local tattoo shop, The Voodoo Needle, and asked the owner for an apprenticeship. That apprenticeship went very successful and 4 years later here I am. Still tattooing, and loving every minute of permenantly changing peoples lives, and expressing myself artisticly in the ultimate form...the skin.
