We offer a variety of shredding services designed to meet our client's needs.
Route Service:
We offer a selection of locking containers for document storage, at no charge. We service these containers on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis; you tell us how often you would like us to be there. Shredding is done by our commercial shredding trucks. infoSHRED also offers a will-call service to our customers that would like more flexibility in their schedule. You call us when the container is full, infoSHRED will be there within 48 hours to service your container.
Purge or "Clean Out" Service:
We can shred any quantity of stored material at your location for those requiring annual, one-time or occasional shredding service. Paper is shredded on-site in our commercial shredding trucks, or off-site at our shredding facility. The choice is up to the customer, either way an owner of the company is always on hand. All paper is recycled and prices are by the box.
Other Services:
infoSHRED offers destruction service for microfiche, magnetic media, plastics, computer disks, CD-ROMs, tapes, credit cards, coupons and other media. Call for details. infoSHRED is now able to destroy and recycle hard cover books along with any other type of book, call now for details.
With our On-site shredding service all your documents are shredded at your site, inside our shredding truck, this way you are assured that all material is
completely destroyed before it leaves your business.
You are issued an invoice along with a Certificate of Destruction once the shredding is completed.
With our Off-site shredding service you still get the same great service but at a cost savings to you. We come to your site and pick up all material and
transport it in our locked truck back to our shredding facility where it is destroyed within 24 hours of pickup.
You are sent an invoice along with a Certificate of Destruction once all material has been destroyed.
We will even carry boxes up or down stairs, wherever they are stored at no extra cost.

Reasons to Shred
Mortgage Broker Who Dumped Consumer Records Settles FTC Charges
A mortgage broker who discarded consumers’ personal financial records in a publicly- accessible dumpster paid a $35,000 civil penalty to settle Federal Trade Commission charges.
According to an FTC complaint filed in December 2008, the defendant improperly disposed of about 40 boxes of sensitive consumer records collected by companies he had owned, including tax returns, mortgage applications, bank statements, photocopies of credit cards and drivers’ licenses, and at least 230 credit reports. In addition, two mortgage brokerage companies he previously owned failed to provide reasonable and appropriate security for sensitive consumer information, despite promising they would do so.
The FTC charged the defendant with failing to take reasonable measures to protect credit report information from unauthorized access during its disposal, in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the FTC’s Disposal Rule. The complaint also charged him with violations of the FTC Act for his companies’ misrepresentations about their data security practices.
In addition to imposing a $35,000 penalty, the settlement order bars the defendant from misrepresenting measures taken to protect sensitive consumer information and failing to take reasonable measures to protect credit report information during its disposal. The order also requires him to employ a comprehensive information security program for sensitive consumer information, and to hire an independent, third-party security professional to review the program every year for 10 years to ensure that it meets or exceeds the order’s requirements.

CONTAINERS ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST
If youre not sure what type of security container you want or how many containers youll need relax! Well make recommendations based on your feedback and then adjust the number and size of the containers, and even the frequency of service based on your actual use.
Wheeled Bins: Although more industrial looking, Bins may be desirable when your business is consistently dealing with larger volumes of discarded confidential documents. Wheeld bins are offered in either a 64-gallon or 96-gallon sizes. The 64-gallon toter measures 42"x29"x22" and has the capacity to hold 250 pounds of paper. The 96-gallon toter measures 44"x35"x24 and has the capacity to hold 330 pounds of paper. Each of these are lockable for the maximum security.
If you are tight on space we also offer a 35 gallon bin.
