Oscar has been performing, teaching, and competing since 1989. He has an extensive dance background consisting of salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata, tango and cha cha cha. His hard work and dedication have always paid off. He was awarded first place in 25 salsa competitions, including being the Vice World Champion at the Miami World Salsa Federation Championships 2003. Olga Lastovetska
Instructor, Pussy Cat Doll Dance, Strip to Fit, ChairFit, Sexy Hip Hop, BollyFit & BellyFit
Dancing might have different meanings to each and one of us. To me, it's an art of expression, inspiration, and motivation in life.
I was born in Ukraine and at the age of 14 moved to Canada, where I enrolled into a secondary school of the arts. This is where I was exposed to dancing for the very first time. Ever since then I have grown as a dancer by exploring diverse styles of dance, including Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, and Latin.
While at McMaster University, working towards my medical sciences degree, I continued dancing and performing at every opportunity. Through the years of university, I had put on a lot of weight, which had a negative effect on me as a dancer, and especially, as a woman! After many boring weeks at the gym and feeling like a hamster on a treadmill, I decided to learn what it takes to create an effective workout.
Once certified with Can-Fit-Pro, I decided to combine my knowledge and passions in fitness and dance to create fun and effective classes for women to reach their goals.
My determination is to make my classes your window to greatness!

After being introduced to Salsa and other Latin dance forms, she immediately found her passion and continues to train, perform, teach, as well as compete in Latin Dance.
Having placed first in the Professional division for the 2010 Toronto Bachata Festival, Wright decided to enter once again and has already made the finals. She is currently under the training of Giovanni Torres’s Professional Salsa Dance Team LosSalsomanos, and is working towards her degree in Kinesiology and Dance at York University.

Salsa ADULTS
Salsa is usually a partner dance form that is associated to salsa music now popular worldwide. The word is the same as the Spanish word salsa meaning sauce, or in this case flavor or style. Salsa music has its origins sometime in the 1950s to 1970s, with the truly distinct salsa style coming out of New York in the 1970s. The music fuses a number of Cuban styles, particularly the son, but also draws from a number of other Latin American musical styles using the maracas, conga drums, and guiros.
Salsa has become one of the hottest trends in recent years and Toronto has one of the best Salsa scenes in the world. It is a great way to meet people and have fun. Not to mention that dancing improves posture and grace, and also a fun way to keep in shape.
We offer different levels of salsa classes depending on your experience. Please consult our instructors regarding which level would be most appropriate for you. We host socials and outings on a regular basis so you will get to practice and show off what you learn!

Salsa KIDS (5-14 yrs old)
Music and Dance are important activities to the growth of a child, to develop their self-esteem and to foster their creative expression. Dance should be considered an essential component in your kid's education, the same as math, history and science. Because of her passion working with kids, we are bringing to you a kids salsa program at Enamorarse Dance. Argentine Tango
Argentine Tango is a social dance and a musical genre that originated in Argentina and Uruguay. It is commonly confused with Ballroom Tango, which is a later derivation. Argentine tango is a uniquely sweet, romantic, intensely dramatic, exciting, sexy, intimate, mesmerizing dance that is highly improvised. Ballroom tango, on the other hand, tends to be memorized and very staccato and detached. Argentine tango can be either sweet, gentle, soft and flowing, while at other times fast and exciting. The facisnation people have with Argentine tango is the connection that can develop between partners. It is almost as if two become one. In Argentine tango style, dancers are free to frequently pause and enjoy the moment and the music without the need to constantly move rhythmically to the beat. That's what makes Argentine tango so appropriate for a dance of love at wedding receptions and other parties.
Courses run for 8 weeks, except for public holidays.
Belly Dance
R&B singer Aaliyah used the belly dance as her signature move, which she called the belly roll.Belly dancing has recently been made widely popular by Shakira, whose dancing combines belly dance, Latino and modern dance styles. Other singers who have performed belly dance in their music videos include Beyonc, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson.
The benefits of belly dance are both mental and physical. Dancing provides a good cardio-vascular workout and helps increase both flexibility and strength, focusing on the torso or "core muscles", although it also builds leg strength. Many belly dance styles emphasize muscular "isolations", teaching the ability to move various muscles or muscle groups independently. Veil work can also build arm, shoulder, and general upper-body strength, and playing the zils can build strength and independence of the fingers. This is for everyone of all ages, shapes and sizes!
Tribal Fusion Belly Dance
This 8-week course will explore the dynamic world of tribal fusion belly dance by focusing on posture and muscle isolation, which are the fundamental elements present in most belly dance movement. Students will drill these basic movements to both tribal and modern belly dance music. This course is open to all levels of dancers!

Ballet
Peter Martins, the Ballet Master in Chief of New York City Ballet said,"You want to be a sculptor of your muscles in order to achieve maximum muscle tone. You want to relieve the body of its excesses in order to bring out what's best in yourself. Ballet does not bulk up the body, but rather refines it."
It is so true that ballet is the foundation of many dances, and it develops not only poise and toned muscles, but also creating body awareness and confidence. Designed for dancers of all ages and dance experience, the ballet workout classes will help you tone muscles that you rarely use while having fun learning this beautiful art form!
If you are thinking of muscles toning, core strengthening, lengthing your body and building beautiful posture, ballet is the way to go! Drop in for our fun ballet workout class that takes traditional ballet techniques to a fun contemporary levels. No experience necessary!

lesson!!" ~ Ada Robinson
"Just wanted to tell you your Salsa social was fantastic - Super fantastic! The turnout was good... I think
people enjoyed themselves... the Salsa lesson probably loosened people up...Your show was fantastic!
You looked really good!" ~ Robertson Velez
"905 can salsa just as good as 416 as Enamorarse Salsa proved Friday night with their First Anniversary
Party.....905ers up in Markham or Richmond Hill can find a great place for salsa with Enamorarse Salsa."
~ Mike B (SalsaTo - Toronto's Salsa 'Zine)
"Just want u to know that after the first set I kept taking the classes because I hope to one day be 5% the
dancer u are. Felt very privileged to learn from u, Tania" ~ Sabrina R
"...comparatively speaking, Enamorarse is more technical. The classes are one hour in both cases, but I feel
like Enamorarse practices the moves so much more, and breaks it down after several iterations to talk about what is good and what is bad. I got a thumbs up and "very good" compliment from the instructor when he was watching me do his routine, which I don't think I heard with any of the other guys, so that's good. I don't want to rat out my new school too much, but I just gotta say that Enamorarse has something really good going. The teaching method makes it very easy to learn, but it still gets very technical. It's not just "watch the instructor and try to follow"." ~ Blaise Ng
"A great job of breaking down the basics and emphasizing weight transfer and steps, and the importance of connection in
following and leading. The beginner classes I've been to didn't work on it, taking me a long time to figure out."
~ Lydia Lee
"Every step is broken down step-by-step and goes at a slow pace. It has a relaxed, easy going
atmosphere, and a good mix of people to make it fun. The teachers are skilled in their techniques
and very approachable." ~ Eileen Leung
"Salsa class was great!! I had lots of fun! You are wonderful instructors and it's gonna be an amazing
eight weeks! I can see the passion and joy that you have for Salsa teaching and that gives us
gives us students great inspiration! Thanks to you I'll soon be hitting Plaza Flamingo and Bubbaluu's
using with my professional Enamorarse dancing skills!!" ~ Gary Lok
"(I like) the structure and step by step lessons, and special one-on-ones with instructors before, after, and during class. They are skilled dancers and instructors. They make the classes a fun learning environment and ease the stress." ~Yasmin Yassemi
"Your detailed information on footwear is very helpful. Just want you to know that I love all the classes that we had so far."
Steve Hu
"It gives me great pleasure to attend your classes and to learn so many movements and steps of the
mystifying Salsa with all your happy friendly and genuine students. I am fond of your assistant Simon.
He is funny and very proud of his dancing skills. He is very helpful and kind to correct some of my moves.
And you SEEFOO, you are wonderful and gorgeous. Keep up with your good work." ~ Peter Lau
"Continue doing what you do. It is good to see truly happy person. We need more happy people to
inspire others their dream is possible if they passionaly wants it. Keep up the good work Tania."
