Michigan Indigo Children and Families Founder Neil Carrick says: "These are the first of these kinds of programs for children in Michigan. Using these 'integrated' services for children is our first step to help families with direct services for their children affected by Autism, Aspergers & ADD/ADHD. Neurofeedback sessions alone typically cost $100 per session or more and at 20 to 30 sessions or more needed very few families have the financial ability to participate in these kinds of services for their children. Almost none of these services are available to parents without them directly paying out of pocket. The Pilot Programs will use integrated activities, tools and services for each child that participates.
Michigan Indigo Children and Families Network along with other groups are providing sponsorship of the programs through various fundraisers and sponsors in the community, along with the incredible generosity of The Brain Training Center to make these programs available to Metro Detroit Families without any cost to individual families.
