The Cochrane Theatre was opened in 1964 by Jeannetta
Cochrane, who was the theatre practitioner specialising in costume and design.
The Cochrane is part of the infamous Central Saint Martins Art University.
The theatre stages several performances throughout the year ranging from drama to musicals to installations to dance and beyond.
The current Cochrane Theatre building is due to be closed in September 2011 relocating to a new theatre building in Kings Cross, leaving the current theatre sadly derelict.
