I~INSPIRE Imani's Page of Inspiration I wonder what our world would be like if each of us would find somebody to be good to every day. What would our city be like? What would our offices be like? What would our schools be like if we made it a priority to brighten somebody else's day? We are taught that every opportunity we have - we should do good to people. We should have the mindset of, "Who can I bless today?" For whom can I do a favor?" It is stated that in the last days the love of the great body of people will be so busy, they'll be so focused on their own needs, they'll be so caught up in their drive for success that they won't take time to make a difference . . . Imani is so grateful to the thousands who volunteer every month like us - helping the less fortunate, those that are sick, shut-in or in distress. We know God is honored by each person who selflessly gives of their time, talent, and resources to make a difference in the lives of others. It is told that when we reach out to others, it's as if we are reaching out and helping God Himself. Let us continue working, reaching out to others and being an influence everywhere we go. Sometimes in life, you may not feel like you have the talent, the wisdom, or the "know how." People may not see your desire or ability, but the good news is: Your Father in Heaven does. When you use what you have, the Master will step in. He'll put His hands on top of your hands. He'll take what you think is average - average gifts, average talent, average ability - and He'll turn your life into a masterpiece. For we are God's masterpiece. And, remember, You Are Blessed To Be A Blessing To Others.
