Dinner will be held at Spring Rolls located in Sheppard Centre (Sheppard and Younge). There will also be a silent auction where we will auction off arts provided from sponsors and the art department at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. All proceeds from this event will go to Free the Children's Clean Water Project and the Alternative Income Project.

located on Doris, off Greenfield from Yonge Street north of Sheppard (look for the green P!).

The creators of this dinner event are Erica Chow, Iris Chow, Vanessa Cui, and Isabel Tang. We are all students from Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School in Markham and are currently enrolled in a course called Global Outreach: Taking Action in Africa.

Alternative Income
In third world countries such as Kenya, there are people that live on $2 per day. For our Dinner, we will use our donations to buy a goat , pig, or a cow to help the families to overcome poverty and to help their children to go to school. Alternative income also encourages women to support their families by using their womens' skills. This also increases women's confidence and the equality between the genders.
