Just like many things in life, change is constant. Traditional martial arts serves a purpose but so do mixed and new martial arts.
One technique will not work for everyone, one must have knowledge of different techniques as a choice for execution. Martial arts needs to adapt and change, just like everything else. Fighting has changed over the years, and so should the martial arts. New invented techniques and applications should be just as welcomed as old techniques.
