De Dicktator van het lustrum ziet erop toe dat het een geweldig speciaal jaar gaat worden. Afhankelijk van welke blessure hij heeft, is ie fanatiek alpinist, sportklimmer, hardloper of fietser. Als ex-MOC heeft hij nog steeds heimwee naar het materiaalhok van Ibex,
bang dat de setjes en
cams niet meer elke
dag gepoetst en
vertroeteld worden.
Secretaris
Jorien
Jorien is de tiepmiep
van de Lustrumcie.
Ze is een fanatiek
sportklimster maar is
zo nu en dan ook in
de Alpen, turnhal of
zeilboot te vinden.
Ze is misschien dan
wel klein, maar met
een aapfactor van +1 gaat het klimmen haar goed af. Na lang actief lid geweest te zijn van de Akcie maakt ze nu trouw iedere twee maanden de IBEXpress.

Jorrit
Jorrit is het enige lustrumcielid dat niet in het IBEX bestuur heeft gezeten. Wel heeft ie de altijd stressvolle
maar leerzame Introcie overleefd. In zijn eerste jaar bij IBEX is hij meteen alle klimweekenden mee geweest. Nu is ie snel opgeklommen (haha) tot skiovio (juist).

Na drie jaar bestuur en een record aantal commissies, kon de Lustrumcie natuurlijk niet ontbreken. Na een mislukte poging om de FriesCie op te richten, heeft hij de IBEX band nieuw leven ingeblazen. Hij hoopt al jaren ontslagen te worden uit de
Blescie, zodat ie
tijdens IBEX
weekenden weer
kan klimmen in plaats
van mountainbiken,
koken en biercriticus
uit te hangen..

Aniek
Deze gezellige brabo is nèt het bestuur uit en gaat afkicken in de lustrumcie. Inmiddels weet ze alles van jenevers en whiskeys als barvrouw in café De Zaaier,
maar als oud secretaris weet ze ook alles van alle Ibex-leden. A la Aniek: toppertje combo voor pardy hardy actiefpief:)

Saskia
Saskia is het enige werkende lid van de lustrumcie. In het IBEX bestuur was ze activiteitencommissaris. Het overschot aan originele ideeën van toen heeft ze gewoon opgespaard om
nu wel vijf lustrumjaren
mee te kunnen vullen.
Dus bereid je maar voor!

Edith
Secretaris geweest in het Ibex bestuur, jarenlang actief in de Akcie en nu in de lustrumcie! Dat doet ze nog ff naast haar drukke baan in het AID bestuur. Haar alpiene
loopbaan begon ze vorig jaar, onder het motto: ''Studeren kan altijd later nog!''

4 November - Calendarcontest
The calender will soon be finished and printed so that you can give it to your mother/ father/ grandma/ grandpa/ brother/ sister/ boyfriend/ girlfriend/ college/ best friend/ neighbour/ dog/ broodje kaas for Christmas/Sinterklaas!
So if you want to look at the photo's from close-up and let us know which one you think is best and why..

28 NOVEMBER - Get your Tiki on!
Rocks and IBEX go very well, but water and IBEX do too! That's why we want to go to the place with the best waterslides in Holland! Climbing and letting your inner child out on one day?! What else is there to whish for? So come along and get your Tiki on!
The costs: €12,50 (excl. transport costs).
Time: We will leave in the early afternoon and arrive back in the evening. Exact times will follow by email after subscription.
10 DECEMBER - ASAC Afghanistan Expedition lecture
Four members of the ASAC (Amsterdam) went to Afghanistan in July and August last summer. The team climbed three mountains, in between 5200 and 5500m high. These mountains lie in the Wakhan valley, an isolated and therefore safe area where only a couple of tourists and climbers have ever been.
On Friday the 10th of December (part of) the team will come to Wageningen to talk about the expedition and show a movie they made during their tour.
Location: Sports centre De Bongerd.
Time: 20:00h.
Afterwards: drinks in the Sports canteen.
Entrance: free, except for the beers you
drink in the canteen afterwards...

Have you always wanted to make that dull pofzak amazing? This is your chance! Since most IBEX men (and some women) are not so interested in the latest pofzak-fashion, there will be an additional DIY-activity for them: Make your own Campusboard!
For the last activity we will
charge some money, since
quality wood isn't for free..
The price will range from
10 to 15 euros.

Description: We start with an official word by the Lustrumcie, than we will shortly relive the old days with honoured member Arnaud Temme, followed by the lecture of Katja Staartjes. The lecture will be in Dutch. Katja Staartjes is the best expedition climber of the Netherlands. She was the first Dutch woman who made it to the top of Mount Everest (8848m).

Description: During the challenging mini-battle the participants (in teams of 2) will follow a parcours by bike and running. They will find some checkpoints and do some special tasks. This all will be in the beautiful surroundings of Wageningen. Endurance, strength and coordination will bring you to the finish!

Description: Especially for the 5th lustrum of WSAC Ibex t Heerenstraattheater te Wageningen shows the movie PSYCHE II. This movie won several prices, including the price for best climbing movie at the Vancouver mountain film festival 2011 and at the Kendal mountain film festival 2010.
