Jon Hynes, owner of Gravity Mountain Biking has now established himself as a lifelong Outdoor professional. Since his teens he has always been involved in adventure & extreme sports. His passion & enthusiasm and expert knowledge of the Outdoor Environment has earned him a reputation as a real Adventurer with many notable achievements over the years.
Jon's career in Mountain Biking spans back to 1992 when a few months spent in France introduced him to the sport and soon he began racing and enjoying the sport. Since then he has biked, Kayaked, surfed, climbed and travelled in many of the worlds top adventure hotspots.
A qualified Mountain Bike Instructor, Adventure First Aider as well as a wide range of other Outdoor qualifications will ensure your safety, enjoyment and quality learning experience under Jon's supervision.
About Us
Beginners
Join us for half or full day packages where you can learn key skills such as gear selection, riding positions, braking, cornering & much more. We provide all the kit inc KTM Bikes & protective gear.
Improvers
If you already have some Mountain Biking or Cycling experience but want to get some targetted tuition in certain skill areas then contact us for a free consultation and we will design a program for you.
Guiding
We also offer a guiding service, so if you or your group are coming to Cork & Kerry we can save you time and effort and bring you to all the best spots. These packages can also include full equipment rentals, transport in our minibus and our purpose built MTB trailer and of course accommodation & other activties.
Advice
Mountain Biking is our passion, if you are new to the sport, or looking to step it up, change your bike or try a new trail just call or email us for free advice.
