In 1974, Debi (Hughes) and Ron Frederick married at Bluffton, Indiana. In 2002, after 24 years of running a variety of successful food establishments, Ron chose to put his experience to the test and work for himself. Debi's dad and sister often work at the cafe and the casual family atmosphere is enjoyable.
Frederick's Cafe is located on the square in historic Corydon, Indiana. In 2005, Frederick's relocated to their current successful location. Ron decided to focus his service on breakfast (served any time) and lunch (after 10:30) menus. Occassionally a special menu dinner will be planned and are rare treats.
Frederick's Cafe is not fast food. As a matterof-fact we are fairly slow. We start your meal from scratch and serve it fresh to you- when it is ready. Ron's breads are made on-site and Debi's homemade pies are popular treats. If you are familiar with large city establishments, come try something different. Get a good hand-made meal at a fair price and enjoy the atmosphere of Corydon on the square.

Why Corydon?
Corydon is a beautifly historic area in Southern Indiana.
But mostly, Corydon is a center for our family. If you know of a local Amy, Bliss, Hughes, or Hottell, we are probably related. Debi and Ron wanted to come back to the area to be with family, enjoy a calmer lifestyle, and try their hand at quality food at a good price.
