Hope Christian Church
Basically, Hope Christian Church (HCC) is a group of people who have decided that their sin problem is just too big to handle on their own. So........they agreed with God about it and handed Him their lives. Now that they have had their sins forgiven, been given the gift of eternal life, and been given the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, they are doing their best to live a life of love towards God and others. Mainly though, they/we are trying to tell as many people as we can about God's offer of salvation through the cross of Jesus Christ..
Student Ministries
Students means anyone in grades 7-12 in any school near or far from Columbia Il. Hope Student Ministries is the part of Hope Christian Church that are teenagers in JH or HS. The Journey
On Sunday mornings HSM meets upstairs at 9:30 AM to study through the New Testament. Right now, the High School class is going through the book of Romans and the Junior High is going through Acts.
The Upper Room
On Sunday night we meet upstairs at 6:00 PM to experience student led worship, prayer for each other and a Bible study through the Old Testament. The doors open at 5:00 for games and worship practice and worship starts at 6:00. We also have open, ongoing auditions for the HSM worship team.

On Wednesday nights we meet upstairs for a night of play, music and large group discussions on a variety of topics that impact the lives of students. The doors open at 5:00 for the game room and worship practice. The music starts at 6:30, videos start at 7 and the discussion starts at 7:15. We wrap up at 8:00 PM.
