WELCOME TO HSD PTO!
Our PTO's mission is to aid the students of HSD by providing support for their educational and recreational needs and to encourage and enhance the cooperative community spirit among the teaching staff, students, and parents.
We not only work diligently to raise money for the school but also to cultivate a partnership with the administrators, faculty, staff and the community to ensure that HSD continues to be an excellent environment for our children to learn and grow.
Our parental support is the foundation and strength of our Organization! YOUR commitment and support helps us to build revenue and educational resources beyond what the school provides. On behalf of the entire PTO Board, we welcome you and look forward to working together, in the rich spirit of community. It is our goal to foster learning, growth and diversity through our organization.

JOIN THE PTO - IT'S WORTH IT
PLEASE join us as we work together to build HSD into a school like no other. We always welcome new ideas, feedback and most importantly, your participation. Your help in shaping the student environment will make a positive impact on their future.
PTO costs ONLY $10.00 per family.
As a paid member of the PTO, your family receives voting rights at the PTO General Meetings and you and your family also receive the great opportunity of collaborating with the teachers, admininstration and other parents. Paid membership does not require you to volunteer or attend every meeting.
But your time is always appreciated!

These Bylaws serve as the broad set of rules adopted by the HSD Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for governing our organization, meetings, and affairs.
These Bylaws were adopted, as written, by the PTO-EC and PTO General Membership, by majority vote, on October 29, 2010 and amended on February 21, 2011.
