MEET THE WIX WELCOME SCREEN
Let's begin a new project; after all, this is a beginners guide! Once you've logged in, click on Create to get started on creating your web design project. If you're in need of a little creative inspiration, click on Explore to see what others have made. Want to return to something youve made before? Its always available in My Account.

CREATE
Time to get creative
Choose a template for your site. Wix offers a variety of themes to choose from. All Flash templates are organized in the left hand category and are presented as thumbnails. TIP: Even if you want to start from scratch, it sometimes helps to use a template the first time so that youget familiar with how stuff works. Take your time to find one you really like! Found the perfect template? Rollover it and click Edit and make it your own!

LAUNCHING THE EDITOR
This is where the magic happens
Clicking Edit will open the Wix editor. The 1st thing you'll see is the handy dandy Wix Editor Tutorial. Thisis a perfect way to familiarize yourself with all the knobs and buttons.

Hint: clicking Help at the bottom left hand side of the Wix editor will bring back the editor tutorials at any time.

The quickest way to learn is to start playing in the editor.Explore the many intuitive options until you've created something you're proud of.

Hint: Use the menu to find all the pieces you need to design your site and web content.

to add clip art into your project.
Hint: Use the Tool Box and Property Panel to customize: change colors, skins, add behaviors, links…
PREVIEW
Clicking the Preview button at the top of the Wix editor allows you to see how your work will look once it'slive. To continue working click Back to Editing.

SAVE YOUR WORK
We wouldnt want you to lose your hard work! So, click the Save button periodically while you work.The first time you hit Save the Save As box will open. Go ahead and give your page a name and click Save. (Everything you save is found in My Account)Remember, save often! And if you like, you can also save your project under various names through the process.

PUBLISHING YOUR WORK - SHARING IT ONLINE
You're at the finish line!
Click Publish - All that's left is to choose now is where you want to share your website!
Hint: Click the Publish button to share your creation with others.
