Step 1: Open "Settings"
Log-In to Wix and click on My Account to choose your website project.Open your site in the Wix editor and click on Settings from the top menu of the editor to open your website's settings.

Hint: Use the Settings menu to easily add a Title, Description and Tags.
Step 2: Add a Title Tag:
Once the Settings window is open, you'll be able to enter your website's title. There are many of reasons why titles are so important. • Many search engines display the results using the actual title. • The title tag is what will be shown at the top of your visitors browsers. • If the title is missing, search engines may use text from your site, not pretty, trust us.

Step 3: Add a Description Tag
A description is a short summery of what your website is about. It's also a great spot to include a few of your most important keywords. Here's what a great description should include. •Descriptions should be 25 words or 150-160 characters in length. •Avoid using special characters: !, _, #, $, % (etc.)

Step 4: Add Keyword Tags
To create a keywords list, it's a good idea to start by scanning the text content on your page. Make a list of the most important words you see on your website.Pick the 10 terms that best describe the content of the page. •Keep your list of keywords down to 10 unique words or phrases •Separate the words or phrases using a comma. •Put your best words at the beginning, oh and no need repeat words or phrase.

Click Apply to update your website's settings. The information you've added will be automatically included

Once you've published your site, Wix will include a link to your site on the Wix Directory as well as include a Sitemap within your site.Note: It takes search engines an average of about 1 month to scan and rank brand new websites. In the meantime, we recommend that you submit your URL to various search engines such as Google Search Submit and directories to help speed up the process as well.
