La Rancherita and Friends TV - Radio Ministries is a non-profit organization located in South Texas. The Ministry is operated by Pastor Hilda Reyna also known as La Rancherita in the Artistic areas of TV, Radio, and Music. The Ministry focuses on spreading the word of God thru music and teachings from the Christian Faith. The organization helps the community with clothes, food and toy drives for the less fortunate.

Hilda Reyna also Known as La Rancherita is a Music Artist best known in Northern Mexico and Texas. She Hosted the TV Program La Rancherita and Friends. The Show was aired in Mexico on XHAB CH 7 and Telemundo and in the United States on Fox and UPN. Her Show began on the airwaves via Satellite world wide. Her music can be heard in the Dallas Fort Worth Area on KNIT 1480 and on Radio Caliente HOTT 77 via the internet. La Rancherita owns the self titled Production Company and Radio Station HOTT 77. La Rancherita is a unique vocalist and song writer. She sings both in english and spanish. Her musical talents range in various genre types of music.
La Rancherita began her legendary life singing at a very young age of four and won her first singing talent contest at age six. Los Aficionados, was held live in El Grande Theater in Harlingen Texas. Celebrity radio announcer/actor Ruben Benavides was the MC host of the contest. Miss La Rancherita at six, won prizes and a Grand Prize Singing/Recording contract for her first LP, a Star was born! Rogelio Botello Rios had her sing live on his radio program KGBT 1530 am and later on invited her to sing regularly in his TV show Aqui Rogelio on KGBT Channel 4 CBS Network affiliate. La Rancherita continued to hit the mainstream early on in her career on the TV Show Johnny Canales on KVEO Channel 23 and Cable Channel 8 NBC Network affiliate, and on Radio Stations across Texas to include but not limited to KIWW 96.1, KGBT 1530, and Que-Pasa 99.5.At an early age she attended a Catholic school in the state of Colorado, the Priest and the Nuns’ love, she has never forgotten. Her family made their living traveling as migrant workers, harvesting seasonal crops in Texas picking cotton and Colorado hoeing sugar red beets. As a child she picked up a hoe and used it as her make-believe microphone and sang her heart out in the fields of Colorado while hoeing sugar red beets. That’s how she practiced before joining the contest. Miss La Rancherita is very grateful to the heavens.. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for her success and is currently the President/Founder of her 501 (c) non-profit org.,( La Rancherita & Friends TV, Radio Ministry). She hosts, produces, and directs her top rated variety music entertainment TV and Radio shows. Her program has aired simultaneously on FOX Ch. 17, Telemundo Ch.2 (later UPN 2) XHAB Ch. 7 & 9 and FTN via satellite and FTN Ch. 52. Her music recordings currently air on 100 radio stations in the USA, and 17 international countries. Her music is currently published under BMI. Her vocal enhancement professional training was by a vocal instructor from Reynosa, Mexico, who made mention he had been Rocio Durcal’s instructor. Miss La Rancherita ministered to her friend/celebrity Rocio, throughout the years, by handing to Rocio several of her gospel CDs. International Celebrities Rocio Durcal and Juan Gabriel were one of her special guest when Miss La Rancherita hosted her first TV program in the 80’s in the Network Ch. SIN K-12. Miss La Rancheritas’ TV debut performance was on “Johhny Canales” program back in the 80’s and she met famous singing sensation “Selena” and they became great friends. La Rancherita made several helpful suggestions to the very young Selena in regards to her stage make-up and she even told her to emphasize her beautiful luscious lips that were a great part of her beauty. La Rancherita was given the honor of being a Hispanic Celebrity, having her photo published on the front page of “Latino Star Magazine” in the San Antonio newspaper center article and in various South Texas publications. Other honors include being an honorable recipient of an annual proclamation day from the Mayor of the City of San Benito, Texas it is notable that she shares this honor with the world famous singing artist “Freddy Fender”. La Rancherita is a concert performer, well known, throughout the Rio Grande Valley & Mexico singing/entertainment talents for those less fortunate and her special place in her heart for the Down-syndrome and Special Education students. She made her film debut as a screen actress in several movies one by Hispanic producer/director of “Blood In & Blood Out” Damian Chapa, entitled “Not Mexican Not American” and one by Director Art Ortiz, entitled, “Puro Tejano”. She is a Star Actress/TV Personality/Celebrity that acts in TV & Radio commercials that she writes, produces, bilingual scripts, films on location, edits raw footage with Hollywood 3-D Graphics. She is currently working on two new CD projects scheduled for release in May 2011 entitled: “La Rancherita” and “Southern Nights” . All her fans can listen to her two hour radio entertainment program broadcasts on KNIT 1480 AM heard throughout Ft.Worth-Dallas Texas, as well as Phoenix Arizona and surrounding areas. Her program is receiving rave reviews from both her listening audience fan base and station managers. She directs, produces, and sings, acts, in her own original music videos. She uses a lot of humor in all that she does.. "“laughter is the best medicine and does the heart good”." She performs/sings for women and men prison inmates throughout the Willacy County plus several other prison/correctional systems across the nation to include Juveniles. La Rancherita has also performed live in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Branson, Nashville, all over Texas and Northern Mexico. Furthermore, she is a highly sought motivational speaker for Private and Public School Districts, because she encourages at risk students to stay in school and graduate.
