Inspired by true events

OUR INSPIRATIONMax Horner wrote Redemption, Inc. after attending a "self-help" or "self-realization" seminar in early 2008. It depicts the manipulitive ways this particular seminar would sell it's classes to people. "Your life is in shambles, you must reconstuct your life, pay us four thousand dollars and in three days it will happen." The selling wasn't the bad part, the emotional work wasn't the bad part, but the combination of the two was what was worriesome. After three days of a tireless emotional rollercoaster, most people were in tears of joy and sadness. So when the sales team, not unlike pirranahs, swarmed the marks, it was easy picking.After knowing truely what these people were up to, Max decided to write a parallel story about them. Redemption, Inc. is that story. In Redemption, we follow Evan Freeman (Max Horner) a speaker at "Life Redemption". Business is great, but with a baby on the way and seeing the affect he has on people, Evan starts to have second thoughts.
