Time and time again I am amazed when I look at Bible characters who seemed to have failed or suffered immensely; it's like they had been stumped, and yet they emerged triumphant. Consider Joseph for example: he was rejected by his loved ones, abandoned and left almost dead to be carried away a slave to a foreign land of Egypt. But, at God's appointed time his prophetic dreams came true, his prison shackles came off and he took up leadership of the greatest empire in the world for God's purpose! How good is our God! That's the God of victory we serve! Friends, despite whatever we may feel today, be reminded that our God is a God of triumph. His kingdom is victorious and will ultimately have complete dominion on earth despite what we see in the world today. This conference will be special. We have 9 different speakers, from all our Melbourne churches providing a diversity of insight into this vital aspect of Christian living. We trust that whatever your need is, the Holy Spirit will provide coverage and wisdom for you to advance forward in your situation. Your life is precious. You are his beloved. God can make all of us triumphant in Christ. And as we celebrate another year as Hope Melbourne, we trust that the Lord remove any complacency and help us rekindle our first love for Jesus, and be excited afresh with the possibilities of touching our wonderful city with God's love and kingdom.
