About Us
Susan Page Modeling School is the most established modeling and talent training center in Hawaii. Partnered with Premier Models and Talent Agency, both have a reputation locally and internationally for developing highly professional, well trained models and talent and placing them in the best jobs available. With a history spanning over twenty-five years and hundreds of modeling, self-development and acting students annually, Susan PageModeling is also the largest and most experienced modeling and talent training center in the state.
Susan Page Modeling is known throughout the islands for providing the very best modeling, personal development and acting training. Our philosophy is: “Everyone has beauty and talent, they just need the opportunity to showcase it.” Students will learn about confidence building, makeup, skincare, hair and nail care, wardrobe, social etiquette, as well as photographic modeling, acting and runway.
Children are a special feature at Susan Page Modeling, with programs available as early as 3 years of age.
Susan Page Modeling is looking for fresh faces! To take advantage of our scenery clients from the Mainland and around the world come to Hawaii to shoot their catalogs, commercials, television shows and films. Currently we are looking for:
CHILDREN: 3 years old and up for commercial, television, print and film: Susan Page Modeling children have been hired by clients such as One Step Ahead Catalog, Land's End, Indeed (Japanese Stock Photography), Familiar Catalog (Japan), American Savings Commercial, Gap Kids, Toyota, Mervyn's, Campbell's Soup, Canon Camera, Lost, Off the Map and Hawaii Five-O.
HIGH FASHION RUNWAY MODELS: Femailes 16-30 years old of all ethnicities must be at least 5'8" in height. Males 18-40 years old of all ethnicities must be 6'0" in height. Susan Page Modeling runway models have worked for clients such as Chanel, Dior, Fendi,Gucci, Escada, Polyascko, Tori Richards, Hilo Hattie and Neiman Marcus.
FASHION and FITNESS MODELS: Male and Female models 18-30 years old for print and commercial work. Any ethnicity welcome but must be in good shape. Fashion and Fitness models have been place in Champion Sportswear, Goldwyn, Sportswear, Mikalance, R.E.I, HMSA, Intex, Crazy Shirts, Brooks Running, Men's Fitness Magazine, and Cool Water ads.
RESORT MODELS: Open ethnicities male 30-60 and female 25-55 years old. Hawaii has numerous resorts, property developments, and time shares that are constantly updating their marketing materials. Typically their advertisements are geared for Japan and the mainland. Their target demographic are high-income families and couples (those who can afford second homes and lavish vacations), hence their advertising consists of families and couples enjoying a beautiful home or vacation.
LOCAL MODELS: Local advertisers who are targeting the local market use local looks in their print and advertising. Local models went through the Susan Page Modeling programs have been placed in ads such as Bank of Hawaii, American Savings Bank, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Oceanic Cable, Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaiian Hosts, Crazy Shirts, Cinnamon Girl, Queens Medical, Verizon and T&C Surf.
ACTORS: All ages, ethnicities, looks and sizes for speaking or non-speaking roles in local and national commercials, television and film. A few projects that actors have been placed include "50 First Dates", "You, Me and Dupree", "Tropic Thunder", "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", "The Informant", "Hawaii Five-O" and "Off the Map".

All photos submitted with $25 entry fee will be judged and the top six entrants for each age division will be announced on November 7th, 2011.
The Top Six contenders for each age division will be featured in the
2012 Susan Page Modeling Model Search Competition
to be held in November and will be judged by industry professionals.
Winners will receive modeling scholarships, a professional photo session, photos and composite cards, as well as a 1 year modeling contract with Premier Models and Talent.

Susan Page Modeling's Faces of 2012:
Angela Anela Byrd is the Miss Hawaii USA 2011 and is a model with Premier Models and Talent- Elite Division. She has been featured on the cover and has had editorial spreads in Go! Airlines in-flight magazine, Midweek, HiLuxury Magazine, national In4mation campaign, and eXpression Magazine. She works within Honolulu's luxury industry with Neiman Marcus, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabbana, Armani and many more and can be seen on the runway within Hawaii's fashion industry.
At the Miss Hawaii USA pageant she was the recipient of the Best Interview Award and was the highest demanded Miss Hawaii USA the system has had in years. This past June 2011 she competed in the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas and placed top 8 in the competition along with top interviews. Angela was sent to China from the state of Hawaii as Hawaii's ambassador and spokesmodel for China's new non-stop flights from Shanghai to Honolulu and spent her media tour traveling throughout 5 different cities, performing hula and meeting with China's press and political dignitaries. She is also an active advocate and volunteer with the Hawaiian Humane Society's Educational and Outreach program and is involved with UNICEF, Feed the Children Foundation, the American Red Cross and is a mentor to Hawaii's young women.
Hudson Taylor is a model from Hawaii who says he owes all his success to Premier Models and Talent. The local Hawaii agency has given him various opportunities, including being flown to Japan for an international Panasonic commercial, having a principal speaking role on Hawaii 5-0, and many other prestigious jobs in the industry.
Premier Models and Talent has also given Taylor the foundation to be able to find representation in Miami with Next Model Management, New York with New York Model Management, Paris with Ford and Los Angeles with L.A. Models. He's been flown to and from all these locations for various jobs and now is living back in Hawaii to finish school and take advantage of all Hawaii's market has to offer.
Lashauna Downie is a senior booking agent of Premier Models & Talent. Lashauna has been spearheading Hawaii's high fahion industry for the past 10 years. Following an impressive modeling career, she discovered her enjoyment "behind the scenes", assisting and providing clients with top models. With her continued dedication and commitment, Downie foresees a flourishing future in Hawaii market.
Damien Bujeker have been in the fashion industry for the last 13 years. Damien was a model with one of the top New York agencies which gave him the opportunity to work with some amazing clients all over the world. Damien recently moved onto working as a fashion photographer.

A fun and exciting class that builds your child’s awareness of stage presence, photo posing and dramatic expression. This class is designed to help young talent build their confidence and develop a basic understanding of modeling and acting. This package includes two training sessions, a two outfit color photo shoot with a professional photographer and graduation fashion showcase! Photos from their photo session will be used to make their industry composite cards. Suitable for boys and girls 3-6 years old.

FASHION AND WARDROBE Body image. Shopping on a budget adapting the latest

MEMBERSHIP OBJECTIVE:
To enhance member’s skill levels with all the fundamental skincare and makeup skills for a non-licensed cosmetic make-up artist, demonstrator or retail consultant.
1. INTRODUCTION TO THE MULTI-FACETED BEAUTY & FASHION INDUSTRY AS A MAKE-UP ARTIST.
Print, videos (music), commercial, runway, bridal, special events, live performance, retail and television & film. Establishing goals. Fundamentals of skincare preparation. Sanitation and sterilization. Proper use of brushes, make-up and tools.
COLOR AND FOUNDATIONS. CONTOURING TECHNIQUES.
Understanding skin tones. Foundation and concealer matching. Study of eyebrow shape, face shape and bone structure. Contouring and highlighting.
2. EYEBROWS, EYELINER, EYELASHES AND EYESHADOW.
Enhancing eyebrow shaping. Optics/corrective techniques. Review of color theory. Master the art of blending color and creating shapes using eye cream, powder and pigment products for eyes that range from natural to couture runway designs.
3. LIPS AND NATURAL LOOKS.
Creating perfect lips- lining, filling, and color selection. Clean beauty- the natural look for daytime. Customer workshop using face charts.
4. BRIDAL I
Establishing and running a successful wedding business. Custom designed bridal looks including face chart. Bridal makeup. Makeup for bridal party. Mature makeup: mother-of-the-bride.
5. ON THE SET I
MODELING AND MEDIA- Make-up for color and black & white photography. Makeup for print and film. Building your make-up kit. Self promotion, building your portfolio, testing with photographers, business cards, rates. Work ethics and set etiquette.
6.SPECIAL EFFECTS
Perfect the avant-garde finishes for skin, from the glistening dewy look to the shiny ultra-bronzed effect for the face and body. Discover methods to transform any look into a complete water-proof, beach friendly face for a fashion forward editorial.
7. BRIDAL II

HAIR ESSENTIALS- Fundamental information on hairstyling. Learn the tools, accessories and techniques used to create basic hairstyles for print photography.
FASHION & WARDROBE- The importance of styling and understanding wardrobe selection. Fashion and current trends. Appropriate business attire.
9. DESIGN YOUR BEAUTY SHOT
Conceptualize a design for a beauty editorial. Learn what it takes to produce a beauty shot, create an imaginative makeup design and execute a look with detail.
*Please bring a model for run-through of your photo session.
10. PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO PHOTOSHOOT
Finale! You will be given the entire class to create a stunning makeup design based on your beauty story that will be professionally photographed. Your look will be critiqued and approved by your instructor and reviewed by the photographer as well as ensure flawless beauty images for your portfolio. *Please bring a model in Session 9 to practice your beauty shot and perfect your makeup look on your model at Session 10.
