Bio
With over 17 years of entertainment industry experience, Nikki began her career at Solar Records/Galaxy Sound Studios as Assistant to the Chief Engineer. From there, she did an internship at Sony Music in the Urban Music Department. Upon completion, she became Executive Assistant in the Pop Promotions department at A&M Records. During that same time, this Chicago native emerged as a songwriter, writing with other songwriters such as jazz great Jeff Lorber, Oji Pierce, Zack Harmon and Chris Troy, and Tony Haynes to name a few. It was also at this time she became a recording artist on P.I.R.A.T.E Records. Her voice was featured on album projects such as Michael Speaks, the movie Space Jam and various Looney Tunes and Hannah Barbera projects.
In 1998, after completing a six month tour in Asia, Nikki teamed up with Johnnie Martin and together they formed Flavors Entertainment, Inc. Nikki was personally responsible for securing a distribution deal with Private I/Polygram and was set to release her own project later that year. On this project, she had the opportunity to work with producers Darryl Simmons and Al B. Sure! The first single What About Me written by Nikki Allen and Marc M-Doc Williams, debuted on WGCI, Chicago and quickly became a requested song by listeners. Then in 2001, she hit the road with recording artist Jon B. Since that time, this single mother returned to school studying Television Production in which she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa International Honor Society. She has since became a Tape Operator, Production Coordinator, Casting Director and Assistant Director for various commercials and music videos. Most recently, Nikki has formed Lyrical Content Entertainment Group, LLC (LCEG) which has joined forces with Hitman Records, Inc.
